To achieve this, B.O.B. will build a facility that will actively promote the networking of community partnerships and programs to preserve and strengthen families in the Palmer-Wasilla area. It will work with community partners to develop intentional community strategies, teaching opportunities and mentoring men in the areas of- Parental knowledge

WHY?

However, we recognize that local programs designed to strengthen families are struggling to engage men. Our goal is to intentionally engage men and equip them with the necessary tools to lead successful and productive lives. The results will produce strong, positive influences in the lives of their families and their communities. Through this venue, we will provide vocational training and workplace skills, as well as structured opportunities to equip men through personal mentor-based relationships, healthy community connections, opportunities for growth and development, and access to information about community agencies and resources. We will actively partner and collaborate with several local organizations and faith communities to invest in the men of our communities. We are confident that the success of this project will increase the strength and resiliency of families throughout the Mat-Su Borough for generations to come.
